The Ministry of Education has recently announced the results of the third batch of national first-class undergraduate courses, with six courses from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine successfully selected. These include one online first-class course, three offline first-class courses, and two blended online-offline first-class courses. 

To date, the university has been approved for a total of 22 national first-class undergraduate courses, marking continuous progress in course development.

The newly selected courses include "Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine," "Pharmaceutical Preparations of Traditional Chinese Medicine," "Physics," "Surgical Nursing," "Basic Theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine," and "Massage and Manipulation." These selections highlight the university's solid achievements in optimizing the curriculum and innovating teaching methods.

In recent years, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine has been deeply implementing the national education and teaching reform agenda, guided by central principles and committed to the fundamental task of moral education. The university has fully advanced the integration of ideological and political education into the curriculum. By adhering to the standards of "advanced, innovative, and challenging," and focusing on student development, the university has continuously promoted the digital transformation of education, deepened AI-enabled teaching reforms, strengthened interdisciplinary and course integration, and emphasized cultivating students' innovation and practical abilities.

Through initiatives such as accelerating the construction of online open courses, promoting blended teaching reforms, building high-level teaching teams, and improving teacher development support systems, the university has gradually established a new system for undergraduate course development and management. This system is characterized by "first-class courses leading, quality courses supporting, multiple modes in parallel, and deep integration of technology." 

In the future, the university will continue to focus on the theme of "high-quality development," further leveraging the exemplary role of national first-class courses, and comprehensively advancing education and teaching reforms to provide strong support for cultivating high-quality talents in traditional Chinese medicine.
