The Beijing Municipal Education Commission and four other departments recently announced the results of the 2025 Capital Teachers and Students Promote Integrity series of activities. Ma Shuang, a faculty member from the School of Management at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, was awarded the "Exemplary Gold Course" honor for her work, A New Era of Medical Insurance Integrity: Decoding ‘Doctors' Medical Insurance License’. This accolade highlights the solid foundation and innovative practices of BUCM educators in the field of integrity education.
The Capital Teachers and Students Promote Integrity initiative is a key project outlined in the Notice by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and six other departments (Jingjiao Xin [2025] No. 4) for improving credit construction quality from 2025 to 2027. The 2025 activities included three special events: Preparing Gold Courses on Integrity, Issuing Integrity Declarations, and Integrity AI Speeches. These events underwent rigorous processes, including public reviews, recommendations, expert evaluations, committee discussions, and online disclosures, ensuring the fairness and authority of the awards. The initiative aims to enhance credit construction in the capital's education system and promote a culture of integrity.
Ma Shuang's award is a testament to her teaching excellence and innovative achievements, as well as BUCM's commitment to fostering a culture of integrity and actively participating in the capital's credit construction efforts. BUCM is dedicated to implementing the spirit of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council's Opinions on Improving the Social Credit System (Zhongban [2025] No. 22). The university plans to use this award as an opportunity to further strengthen integrity culture, encourage faculty and students to engage in integrity activities, and create a distinctive brand of credit construction. This effort contributes to the high-quality development of Credit Beijing and supports the integrity construction of the capital's education system.
