On March 17, the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) held a successful event showcasing the achievements of the Seeking Medicine in Tongchuan: United in Dream, Passing on Tradition exchange program for students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Key attendees included BUCM Party Secretary Wang Yaoqi, Student Affairs Minister Zhao Jianlei, Deputy Director Wang Xuexi, Deputy Director Wei Peng, and Party Secretary Li Feng, with Deputy Party Secretary Zhao Jing chairing the event.

The students and faculty shared their experiences through videos, guqin performances, and traditional storytelling. The program involved visits to revolutionary sites, museums, and Yaowang Mountain, enhancing students' understanding of Chinese history, culture, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan reflected on their deepened commitment to the "great physician" spirit and TCM development. Mainland students expressed hopes for integration and growth through the exchange platform. Participants agreed that the program was a valuable mix of practical learning and emotional exchange.

Wang Yaoqi praised the program's success and emphasized improving the integration of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan students into campus life and their studies. She noted the exchange as a beneficial exploration of practical education and cultural identity, encouraging students to transform experiences into motivation, strengthen cultural confidence, and contribute to the TCM legacy.
